Radio City Christmas Spectacular
Does anyone know of any discount codes or links to get decent prices for the Radio City Christmas Spectacular? The prices seem astronomical to me this year!
Thanks!

Re: Radio City Christmas Spectacular
No and I looked into getting tickets and for a family of 5 it was outrageous. I also have been looking in to getting tickets to the nutcracker because my daughters' friend is performing and they are a lot too. I am all about giving the kids experiences to remember rather than material gifts but I have had to stop myself from booking tickets that are so outrageously priced. I hope after this Taylor Swift debacle Tickmaster gets some regulation on the fees they can charge.

Re: Radio City Christmas Spectacular
If people stopped paying the ridiculous prices then they would have to lower them.
But that will never happen so soon the tix will be a grand a seat and people will gladly cough it up.
I personally was never a fan of that show. We used to go every year when I was a kid and it was the same stuff every year.
I took my DD to see a Christmas Carol on Broadway one year and that was a way better show IMO

I think the same thing. People need to collectively stop paying these prices for tickets until they are forced to lower prices. Although I do think that with the recession looming and people not spending what they used to, hopefully these ticket sales will start to take a hit.
It's like that whole old arguement about why sports professionals make sooo much money and teachers make so little. It's because we allow it to happen by agreeing to pay so much just to take our family to a baseball game. If people stopped paying it, prices would have to come down.

Yep! I was just talking to my boss yesterday about sporting events and the insane prices for tickets, food, drinks etc at these venues. Yet they are packed every game. So it's what people are willing to pay. Until that changes, the prices won't change.

McDonald's usually has a discount flyer. I would check there. We go just about every other year and I won't pay for than $50 each. We sit up high and in the back. It's a big show with lots of projections so we don't like to be close anyway

Re: Radio City Christmas Spectacular
There is a promo going on right now for up to 50% off tickets. It’s FBFriday. I just went through a link on instagram. Tickets seem to be a lot less expensive than without the promo. I’m still not going to go because it will be $500 for my family and it’s just not worth it.

What sucks is the "handling/service" fees. Such BS.
I went to the box office at Radio City to buy the tickets and saved $19 each because I didn't have to pay for the handling/service fees.
If you are buying a bunch of tickets then it might be worth going into the city to buy the tickets. (I saved almost $80 on the 4 tickets)
Try promo TEAMS or TEAM
One of the workers there was handing out flyers and I think that was the coupon code on the back.

Yeah, the $19 fee is so annoying! And for Broadway, it seems that the more expensive the ticket, the higher the fee! I ended up buying the Radio City tickets with a Groupon. Still not a great price, but better than Ticketmaster.

Broadway Box sometimes has codes. We saw this when it opened and it was AMAZING! Best thing I've seen on Broadway. The dancing and vocals are just so authentic
