Inexpensive gift ideas
This year things are tight for us financially. I just bought gifts for my kids for Christmas, but I still have to buy for all of our nieces and nephews and we also exchange with our cousin's kids (I tried to setup a secret santa to cut down on costs and no one was on board). Ages range from 1-12... I need gift ideas that are inexpensive but doesn't look cheap, if that exists? I also need gift ideas for DH's older cousins who are 17 & 18 that we still have to get gifts for.

Re: Inexpensive gift ideas
For the little ones, go to Five Below. I was in there yesterday and there was a ton of toys my kids would like along with games too. Also, this week, Target is having $25 off of $100 worth of toys. Overall, I find Wal-mart to have the best prices.
For the older teens, if it's girls, I always find fun stuff at Francesca's. Also, I saw some good deals on the Uggs slippers they are into (the Fluff Yeah slides) on Uggs.com and Macys.com. They were half off and then if you go through Rakuten, they would be between $30-40.
Board games? There are a lot of different types of games at the store so maybe something like that? Or if they have a favorite sports team, pajama pants or a t-shirt with their logo. Fuzzy socks. I saw some good deals on Under Armour outlet as well.
Try places like Nordstrom Rack. Saks is having friends and family which may apply to Saks Off Fifth. Sometimes you can find good buys there.

Try places like Marshalls, Nordstrom Rack, and Burlingtons for toys and gifts for the older kids.

Hunt the clearance racks. This past month I went to Macys and they had the sets of 2 piece loungewear marked down from $50 to $5 I think it's their brand Alfani. I bought a bunch and that's what I will be giving out as gifts to my little cousins, etc.
Macys backstage and Macys in general has some really good deals. Also I scour the clearance aisles at Target, Marshalls, etc. Amazon too has some good deals during this time.

I agree with 5 below for little ones. I go there for Hanukkah and Toy drives, too.

Target has their toy discount as mentioned above and they also have a lot of games on sale for around $10 right now.
ETA - I know you had suggested it, but our family has the kids pull names from a hat now as there are so many of them!!! We even limited it to only the kids who will be there on Christmas to make it even more simple.

Inexpensive gift ideas
Last year I was able to get a few items from my local buy nothing group on FB.
Items included: stuffed animals, books, and a scooter. They were all used but my 7 year old didn’t notice the difference. The books hadn’t even been cracked open.

Target: pajamas, slippers, facial masks, nail polishes, lip gloss, robe, graphic tees, gift cards are fun for that age, jewelry, see if anyone have a book on their list, scrunchies, clear mascara, legos, axe body wash set, board game, furry socks (bought my son yankee ones for his stocking)
Amazon trends: Ugg dupes, dupe looking Birkenstock furry slippers, Carhart Beanie, Air pod case, charging station, cap with team logo, barefoot dream socks, Sherpa slippers
I second Nordstrom rack: pajamas, Ugg slippers are on sale.
I bought my son a mini drone from sharper image it was like $36 bucks. You can also get one from Amazon.
If you have multiples girls you can save by buying packages and splitting it in a gift bag. For example: nail polish set, scrunchie set, lip gloss and that can be split between 3-4 girls.
Nordstrom has some sales and free shipping. Old navy for pajamas, sweaters, Or those Sherpa looking jackets.
