Need suggestions please!!!

Im going to an engagement party Sunday afternoon at a restaurant. Im wearing a light beige pencil skirt, black (w/a little of the same beige color design) button-down fitted top and Im waering a black thick belt around the top and black heels.

My dilemma...usually Id wear black open toe heels and no stockings, but being that the weather is a little cool and my legs are so pale, i need to wear stockings....but what color???
i think black would look too heavy w/the light colored skirt, and please dont say "nude"!!!

I don't think you have any other choices besides black or nude. What about black fishnets?? Or is that pushing the envelope a little too much. It's definitely chilly out, but you could still pull off naked legs because you'll be inside, right?

thanks for the suggestions-as ugly as it sounds i wound up wearing nude colored fishnets, the outfit was on the conservative side and thats why i was able to pull it off. If i would have heard someone wearing this i wouldve said "ew" but it actually looked cute. Thanks again!
