2 hot dip recipes...
I just types these out at someone's request....so I figured, why not share these with all the girls
hot taco dip
I use a rectangle glass pyrex baking pan.
*Line bottom of pan with 16 oz. whipped cream cheese
*Spread a package of taco seasoning on top of cream cheese and use the back of a spoon to press it into the cc
*brown 1 lb of chopped meat, drain, add a jar of salsa in the saucepan with the cooked meat. combine thoroughly and then this is the layer that goes on top of the taco seasoning.
*top the meat with a bag of shredded cheese (I usually use the mexican blend)
*bake at 350 until cheese is melted and bubbly (usually 30-40 mins)
*Serve with corn chips (I like tostitos Gold because they're thicker and don't break. The dip is heavy.)
I've also used left over chili instead of the meat with salsa and that works great too
Perfect for a party (especially superbowl) and I've actually made just this for dinner and DH loves it with chips and to fill soft tacos.
Hot crab meat dip
1 can of lump crabmeat 1 8 oz whipped cream cheese 1 teaspoon of horseradish 1/2 teaspoon of chopped garlic 1 1/2 tablespoon of onion flakes
*mix all ingredients and bake at 350 until top is lightly brown (approx. 30-40 mins)
*serve with crackers
so easy to make and usually a big hit!!
Enjoy!!!
