I know this is a late reply, but I had to. I just finished it and loved it. Reminded me of Bag of Bones in that it was a love story where the partner is no longer there. Beautifully written, one of his best.

I am reading it now and just starting to get into it.
I had a rough start, it started very slow!
I loved bag of bones, I hope I like this one as much!
