When we were watching it, I said to DH, "isn't that the name of the chick on the View?" Didn't even give it a second thought after that.
ALthough I think I would be a little creeped out if my name was used as a rape/murder victim.
She does need to get over herself, though.
I agree with everything you said,.... I think its a little creepy.
BUT she usually goes off the deep end!

I don't blame her for being upset. Using a name so close to hers as a person in the public light is different than using mine as a non-famous person. She shouldn't take it out on the cast though....

Yeah, this really does show how self-absorbed she is.
Did anyone think to tell her that there have been a gajillion episodes of Law and Order and its spinoffs and that it's ineveitable that many people's exact names or similar names are going to come up as perps or victims???

And I am sorry, but she is not exactly that famous that everyone should immediately jump at the similarity. I had no idea who she was untill I read this thread.

I can't stand her on the view...she needs to get other herself...I'm sure they have used names that to similar to others or even real peoples names...do we see them call the exec producers and complaining...NO...b/c we have better things to do!

I can feel for her somewhat. HOWEVER, I also agree with a previous post that it has to do with the writers. Why take it out on the actors? That is just silly. IMO
