Help!
I just got these 2 dresses today from Banana Republic. I have nice black tall dress boots to wear with them. The top of the boots are about 1 1/2" to 2" from the bottom of the dress (a little bit more than what the model shows). Are your legs supposed to show at all or is the boot and the dress supposed to totally meet? Should I wear black pantyhose? Sorry I sound like such an idot but I have been home too long with kids and wearing sweats.

You legs are supposed to show.. I personally wouldn't wear black stockings.. if you are afraid of being cold I would wear nude

You can do either....you can show some leg with a shorter boot or wear a taller boot.

i have the same dress(the top one)
my boots just hit the dress, and you cant see any skin...
i had the same question, bc i had 2 pairs of similiar looking boots, one is about 2 inches shorter, they didnt look right (on me,anyway)
i wore them w/o stockings.

I personally like a little bit more skin to show than the model is showing, so it sounds like yours will be perfect.
