im new
Hello ladies... im new on the boards... to be honest im not married yet but will be in 4 months but i want to get the ball rolling ... i want to start a family soon after i am married but im affraid that i will have trouble.. u see ever since i started getting AF i have never been regular i can go up to 9 months without getting AF... they put me on birth control to regulate AF but i stopped taking it about a year ago since then i have gotten AF a few times but for the past 4 months AF has come every month ( so i guess thats good)... we figuered that we would start trying even if we werent married just in case it would take us long to be able to have a and nothing has happened yet... any suggestions besides visiting the doctor...
thanks ladies...
i forgot to mention i can not go to the ob yet b/c i will not have any insurance until March

Re: im new
Your first step should be visiting a Dr-if your periods aren't regular it will probably be hard to get PG-Were you underweight? Did you ever get a reason why you weren't getting your period. I recommend B complex vitamins to anyone TTC as well as a pre natal. Unless you are diagnosed with something its kind of hard to offer advice

Re: im new
Lots of luck to you!
DH and I started TTC about 3 months before our wedding too. We figured, Cool if it worked, and knew it likely wouldnt..unfortunaty we were right about that.
I hope your stay is short! I would say go to your OBGYN, tell them your starting to TTC and see if they can help you regulate your cycles NOW. They need to diagnosis why your periods are irregualr...endometriosis, PCOS, Polyps etc etc...once they do that, they can treat you.
If you know you have a problem, I woudlnt waste time just hoping it works. Get some help so it doesnt get too stressful!
LOTS OF LUCK!

Re: im new
Welcome & good luck. I am new to this board but not to TTC, my advice would be don't waste any time, start with your GP or OBGYN take it from there.
