I can't figure it out!!!
I have WI tonight but I'm pretty sure that I didn't lose any weight. Maybe 1/2 a lb but that's it.
I can't seem to keep a steady weight loss going. It's up and down every week? Why does it vary so much when I'm not really changing my eating habits?
How are you guys losing on average 2lbs+ every week? I'd like to get it so I do lose 2lbs per week? Any ideas? Thanks!

Re: I can't figure it out!!!
Maybe you could ask the leader at the meeting to look at your food log. Are you writing everything down? Sometimes, if you don't write everything down, you don't realize what you are eating. Also, maybe the leader can look at what you are eating and tell you if you are getting enough fruits, veggies, milk, etc. Are you doing points or core? Good Luck!!

Re: I can't figure it out!!!
I'm doing points. My weeks are consistent of each other for the most part? I exercise like I always do, drink water, using half of my flex points like I usually do? I have WI tonight which I'm not too excited about, but I'll ask her. I do write EVERYTHING down. I'm very proud of myself for being OP all the time! Thanks for the response!

Re: I can't figure it out!!!
It's an individual thing and not everyone loses 2 pounds a week, in fact I would say the majority of people don't. Many people lose a lot in the beginning, and then the losses slow down. I have been doing it for a long time, and have been struggling since January, but it is because I do not follow the program as much as I should. In the past, I would quit, but then gain back all the weight I lost.
Also, my losses fluctuate too. They can vary depending on what I have eaten the day before, what time of the month it is, etc. I am very happy even if I lose a half a pound, since I have been on WW a long time and rarely see more than a 1 pound loss anymore.
I think rather than worry about how much you lose every week, be more concerned about losing something each week. It may not come off as fast as you hoped, but sometime the people who lose it more slowly seem to be more successful at keeping it off longer.

Re: I can't figure it out!!!
when I used to hit a plateau, I would completely change my exercise routine and food. Sometimes your body gets comfortable with your diet and exercise so you just have to change to "shock" your system again.

Re: I can't figure it out!!!
Try looking at the average weight loss per week since you joined WW. If memory serves you have lost quite a bit rather quickly, haven't you? It's natural for weight to fluctuat, especially for women, so as long as you are generally losing over all, I wouldn't worry about it. You should be prepared that a lot of dieters hit stalls or plateaus where you don't really lose at all for a couple of weeks, but try not to get discouraged...it's just your body trying to catch up with the pounds it has lost.

Re: I can't figure it out!!!
Thanks everyone...
Yes, I've lost a bit so far. In 8 weeks I've lost 21.6 lbs. I hope it's not a plateau. I've been referring back to my previous weeks logs, but can't seem to find where there is a problem if there is one?

If you are still losing you are not at a platau...that's when you don't lose anything at all for a couple of weeks. You are averaging 2.7 pounds per week so I wouldn't change a thing if I were you.
