My family dog passed away today in my mothers arms. She has been sick for a while so while its better that shes not in pain anymore, its still so HEARTBREAKING! She had some sort of seizure and just collapsed in my moms arms. Within minutes, she was gone. My entire family is a mess! We have gone through this a number of times before but with each dog, its just as hard. Tomorrow we will be cremating her (thank you for all of your responses on the other thread.) I just cant believe that she is not with us anymore. Its unbelievable how a pet becomes part of the family, just like a human being. If you have a chance, please send a couple of prayers our way...this has not been a good summer for us (my dads dog died suddenly about a month ago as well).
Noreen I am so sorry!! Chris told me this morning!! Same thing happened to my mom two months ago, with my kitty. FM me if you want the info on the pet creamatory we used, they were very inexpensive. We did not go through the vet, which made it a lot cheaper!!!
