How do you deal? (kinda long)
Hi all. This is my first post on this board (though I have been lurking for a while). DH and I have been ttc since December and we will start fertility testing next month.
I just found out another person I know is pregnant and I am sitting here in tears. There are pregnant women all around me; some who weren't really even trying, another who has gotten pregnant twice in the time I can't seem to get pregnant even once.
I try to stay positive and keep my faith through this, but some days it is really hard.
I know that most of you have been doing this a LOT longer than I have and I think you are an AMAZING group of ladies. Are there any magic coping strategies? How do you deal with this month after month? I'm guessing this only gets harder.
to all!

Unfortunately, there are no magical coping strategies...
You just have to take things day by day...and there will be some good and some bad.
I found having a support system (which includes the wonderful ladies on this board) really helps a lot.
Good luck!

Lisa is right, no magic solutions but I wish there were. It is soo a one day at a time thing. Some days are BAD and some fine.
I dont think I could have gotten this far without the support I have from the girls on this board. Being open and honest and sharing your feelings makes it much easier than keeping it to yourself.

I agree there is no real way to deal with this. It is hard and continues to be hard. But you have to keep in mind the end result. Use your support system. Esp these boards. They do help, being able to talk to others in the same situation is invaluable. Good Luck!

Like the other's said, there is no way to "deal" - you just keep rolling along and continue trying. Hopefully, with medical help and the advice and comfort from the ladies on this board, we can keep a positive attitude and get our BFP.

I agree with all the ladies, there is no magic to this. I can only share what has helped me -
- - my DH, as horrible as IF is, it has made us so much closer and realize that we can handle things together, also made us realize how strong our desire for a child is - the ladies on this board - their support and encouragement has been amazing - research - knowledge is power, know your condition and other options you may have, seek out different REs if necessary - yourself - you know what you can and can not handle - don't go to your 5th cousin's niece's baby shower if you don't want to, rsvp no and send a gift.
Good luck!
