Celebs...do they deserve it?
I like celeb gossip as much as the next gal, but sometimes, I think there are people that are just sooooo harsh on these people. I feel that some people can only reply negatively about a celeb and I just think it's not so necessary. Yes, they have money and do stupid things, but if we were in the spotlight and put on a few pounds or had bags under our eyes and had to cover it up with makeup, what would you say about that? I guess they are targets and some people say they set themselves up for that, but are we all so fabulous all the time?

I sort of agree. Do we have the right to nit-pick ("how dare she go out with no makeup on!")... not really.. and do they have the right to privacy... absolutely. But for them, by signing on the dotted line, they give up that private life in a way... that doesn't mean they can't go out looking like yesterday garbage, but I think that in order to be in that sort of industry, you have to develop a thick skin and get over the fact that you might be photographed with something in your teeth.
I certainly do not play an innocent role in all of this because I find celeb gossip quite entertaining and I'm paying those photographers paychecks by buying US Weekly and Star on a regular basis.
It boils down to... It is what it is. Don't like the heat get out of the kitchen. If these celebs really hated being chased around, they would stop doing what they're doing. And think about this..... we see the same 5 celebs over and over.... where's everyone else?! They've obviously figured out a way to stay out of the spot light.... I guess it's all relative, but again, it is what it is....

I think what she means is that some people seem to live for ripping others apart. and that perhaps they need to take a good look at themselves
