I went from Modest to
.....Hey World LOOK At Me! 
Prior to my infertility journey, I would only going to women physicians. I totally remember the days of being shy and feeling awkward about my yearly paps. Those Cold Stirrups didnt help either. And the thought of going to a male physician was beyond me!
Funny, how things change. Now, I don't have a care in the world. I just want solid answers about my infertility and have a baby.
I am no longer that modest girl.
Anyone have similar experiences?

I don't even think about that stuff anymore. I thought the funniest thing was when people were posting about the internal sono wand - I never even gave it a second glance...if it can get me PG - go for it baby!!!!

I am exactly the same!! I used to only want to go to women Dr's. Going through multiple miscarriages i realized the women I went to were not even sympathetic. I switched to a male OB and then to a male RE(he is kind of eh, but i love my OB-if I can ever get PG and keep the pregnancy I will go back to him

Me, too. Before all this, I was so careful to look for a female gyn. I don't even care any more. What ever it takes...

OMG, I'll never forget the first time I had an encounter with the Internal Wand!!! It scared the H'ell out of me. I was so naive and thought sonos were only done from the top of the belly.

me too, the first time a medical student came in to watch an IUI I was a little now, I say invite everyone in , we'll make it a party.
Have to say though yesterday when I thought I might have to have a rectal exam, I was way more

I felt the same way as you. Never saw a male gyn, ever in my life.
I had one for the HSG, and now I'm going to see Dr. Brenner at LI IVF next month.
Who cares as long as they can get us PG!!!!
