I hate naming places after their corporate sponsors, but as far as names go, this one isn't awful. I was afraid it was going to be Banco Popular Ballpark or something.
I was really hoping that MetLife would be the big sponsor and then it could have "Met" in it.

no matter what they name it, it will always be Shea Stadium.
i see the need for the corp sponsors, but i don't think citi park/field or whatever they call it would be to awful. just compare it to Gilette Stadium and its nothing.

It could be worse, but I wish they either kept the same name or at least named it after someone who was a part of the Mets organization.

It's all about the $$$ these days. At least Citibank is a stable company..some of these corporate arenas/stadiums change names every few years when the company tanks.
