Just a question
Hope you don't mind a non-mom posting here but I thought maybe someone here might know...
We are getting ready to TTC soon and have been saving some "baby money"
Does anyone know how much infant care costs on Long Island? We are thinking we might need full day care three days a week...

Not sure about LI...but here in Rockland/Bergen I pay $60 a day for 3 days a week.

I will be paying $50 a day for my daughter to stay at someones house. I am only using her two days a week.

Same for a half day (up to 5 hours) 3 days a week.

a day care center like tutor time is about 1100 a month that is for 5 days a week 9-6. Its a bit less for 3 days, I forget the exact amount. You can call them up and ask them for info and they usually mail you the rate sheet.
