Bite question??
Hi my husband and my puppy were playing-she bit him, her tooth kind of hung on to his skin-so he has a deep cut--He is all nervous, is there anything he should do? He wants me to call the vet to ask, but I thought to come here first TIA!!!!

just clean it out, and use some neosporin, I really wouldn't worry about it.

I had a dog bite and went to a doctor. Dog bites have a high likelihood of infection. The doctor explained several reasons why this is the case. I originally thought I might be overreacting going to a doctor. I had to get a tetanus shot and I was put on antibiotics. I am glad I did that. It healed nicely.
