*%?!#& Daylight Savings Time
UGH! DS was on a great sleep schedule, he was going to sleep at 8pm and waking up around 8am (sometimes even later) and ever since the daylight savings time thing, he has been waking up before 7am! I leave him in the crib for a while to see if he goes back to sleep but no...
Anyone have this issue?
I am hoping it will pass and go back to normal.

What I wouldn't give for 7am
This kid has been getting up at 5 on the nose -the last two days. I want to cry when I roll over to look at the clock.
I am praying that it passes somehow. And, I thought 5:30 was bad

Re: *%?!#& Daylight Savings Time
Ugh, DD's been having a tough time with it too although I thought we were in the clear the first night.
She still goes to bed at the same time but is awake at like 5am too, usually 45 minutes earlier now. And you can tell she really needs to go back to sleep but wont

Are the shades drawn? Kristina's room gets so bright in the morning now with the time change... I was afraid that it was going to disturb her sleep!

Re: *%?!#& Daylight Savings Time
I'm sure it will pass...
Charlie was doing 7:15 bed - 7:30 wake and after the clocks changed the first night I tried keeping him up as late as possible, later the 2nd night, etc etc. Last night he slept 7:15-6:50 (8:15-7:50 the old time) so I'm hoping I'm slowly pushing him back. His whole eating schedule is the same (just doing the morning bottle earlier). His naps in the past 2-3weeks somehow have actually been pushed back later an hr, so now its like we're back on his original napping schedule which I like much better anyway.

Re: *%?!#& Daylight Savings Time
7am? --- **sigh***
We woke at 4:27am this morning. I thought that somehow we esacped the daylight savings time curse because yesterday he woke at 6:30 am and I nearly did a jig because that's late even if we didn't change the clocks.
In any event, give it a few more day and DC will get back to the normal schedule. It just take a few days of adjusting.

awwww ... i didn't mean to come across that way. This is one of those silly things we complain about. Taking care of our children is tiring. So whether it be 4am or 7am, it's still early! And I'm NOT a morning person at all and after 15 months I still cringe every morning in the 5am hour when my son demands he get out of his crib. But wouldn't trade it for anything.

Re: *%?!#& Daylight Savings Time
I have been stressed about DST for weeks now and it has worked out exactly as I feared it would.
This morning she slept a full half hour more than yesterday, before waking at 4:30 in the %@# morning. I don't know how to convince her to sleep later.

I am in the same boat!! He even goes to sleep at the new DST 9pm which is when he normally goes to sleep pre-DST (9pm). But now he is waking up at 6am instead of 7am.

Re: *%?!#& Daylight Savings Time
My son is having the same problem. He is sleeping at 6PM and waking up at 5AM. But he isn't sleeping through the night either, so I am feeding him and changing him at least once during the night.

Re: *%?!#& Daylight Savings Time
DS started waking up at 5 recently due to teething. With Daylight savings that is 4. Today he went back to sleep until 7:30 so I am hoping our schedule is back.
ETA: I have been forcing him to stay up until 7 his usual bedtime.
