I can't believe how fast time is flying by too ladies!! I am 31 weeks tomorrow and feeling well although getting tired much quicker these days. it is looking like my section will be on the 21st of july. lil man has been moving like crazy and it is starting to get uncomfortable! still have to do stuff for the nursery as we are gutting the 3rd bedroom and moving dd there and using her room as the nursery. so we can't paint in there until her big girl room is done!! looking forward to holding in my arms shortly!!

Bumping this for all the July Mommy's - we're almost there! how's everyone doing? are you ready?

i had my shower 2 weekends ago and we got so many clothes and all our big items. i washed all the newborn and 0-3 month clothes, blankets, towels and washcloths and put them away in her drawers. we set up the bassinet and i put together the bouncy seat. DH has to screw the changing pad into the dresser. we still have to install the car seat bases and have them checked. and i have to pack my hospital bag. but other than that, we're ready and just waiting for our little girl to arrive.

35 weeks yesterday!!
I had my shower at 32 weeks and immediately began nesting. His room is pretty much done except I have to hang his valance and a few other items.

Last week we installed the car seat base in each car, but we haven't had them inspected yet.

This week I plan to do lots of laundry for all of his 0-3 month clothes, blankets and bassinet sheets.

Can't believe he's almost here!!

Just a small update...

36 weeks now. Last week's appt. started internals and I was 1cm and 50%. I go back tomorrow.

Nursery 90% done. We have all the furniture finally. Just have to put together the big ticket items, get carseat installed, and I have to wash some clothing and blankets.

Feeling good for the most part. I have no idea what Braxton Hicks feels like so I don't know if I'm even getting them.

Heartburn is still coming and going.

Last childbirth class is tomorrow night.

I'm just getting really tired. My whole body aches and I'm soooo shot at the end of the day.

I was 35 weeks just yesterday. I had my surprise shower Last Saturday and then my dance coworkers and students had another surprise shower for me this past Friday! I got everything I registered for and soooo much more it was a bit overwhelming! The nursery is 90% done. DH & I took lamaze this past saturday. I start internals tomorrow...oh boy!

I finally got my c-section date of July 19th. I’m so disappointed because it was originally supposed to be the week before, but my high risk doctor wanted to push it a week. I went from thinking I have 3 weeks to now having 4 weeks left. I am tired all.the.time. And I'm sick of people telling me I look tired.

We organized much of the nursery and have just a few things left to do in there. We’re waiting until the baby is born to decorate according to gender, but we need to find and hang shelving and window treatments. My hospital bag is packed for the most part, minus the last minute stuff like cell chargers. We still have to pick a pediatrician. I also want to hire a cleaning service to come in and do a really thorough cleaning of the house before the baby comes. I haven’t been allowed to clean for pretty much the entire pregnancy. DH has been doing it all, but he just doesn’t do it as often or as well as I’d like. We need to set everything up, like the swing, bouncer, etc. We also have to install the car seats.

I have everything I need for the hospital bag - just need to pack it.

Things i need to do:
go through DS' baby stuff and figure out what I will be keeping and need to get for the baby
Make room in the closet and drawers for the baby's stuff (kids are sharing the room)
paint the room
pick up crib
set up co sleeper
install car seat

DS is going away for a few days with my mother this weekend - we are going to take that time to paint and set up crib. The rest of the stuff I need to start doing like yesterday!

I'm feeling tired and achy ... lots of hip pain. Growth sonogram is saying the baby is 7pds - I hope its not accurate since I still have 3 1/2 weeks to go!

Update on me.

I am due 7/9... trying for a VBAC. Scheduled for a C Section on July 10th if baby doesn't come before that. Doctor mentioned yesterday that maybe we can push it to 7/13 if everything remains well. I am diabetic and am not supposed to go past my due date but I am monitored 2x weekly with NST's and weekly Bio Physicals and everything has looked great so far.

In the past week though my son has had surgery and twice I was at L&D for high blood pressure although yesterday's visit was a false alarm (my machine needed to be recalibrated). So it's been very stressful to say the least.

I'm facing opposition for a VBAC from the other doctors in the practice - some of the things they have said have really been unprofessional - thankfully my MAIN doctor, whom I love, is very supportive and basically told me to tell the other to go stick it when the time comes. So we'll see how this plays out over the next few weeks.

I go Thursday, hopefully I'll be dialted/effaced and will have some hope.

The nursery is almost finished. Just need some decor on the walls.

Have been 1cm and 50% since June 14. Let's hope for some progress!

Dr. did say last appt. that the baby is "very low".

And heartburn, please GO AWAY!

ETA: Still 1-2cm... but it's nice to know this baby is fully cooked.

Due on Friday and feeling pretty tired. Still have some things to finish up on around the house. Had prenatal visit today and still no dilation. My little one seems to be pretty comfy.

im almost 38 weeks and 3cm! the baby is so low and im sore down there all the time. it's so uncomfortable just to walk lol. but we're ready and waiting on her to make her appearance. the nursery is done. the bassinet, bouncy seat and swing are assembled. we installed the car seat bases this past weekend and my bag is packed.

36 weeks here. c section scheduled when I will be 39 weeks on 7/18 so only 3 weeks to go. I cant wait....I am so done! so super uncomfortable every day. peeing every half hour..its ridiculous! Bag is semi packed and I washed some clothes and the carseat padding. I feel as ready as I'll ever be!

Im in my 38th week- last day of work on Friday.

c-section scheduled for 7/9.

Ready for baby- just need to sterilize bottles and wash the bassinet- need to pack my bag.

I am SO tired and my ankles are SO swollen its unbelievable.

I'm home with my 3 and 4 year old today and Thursday and then all next week- going to to the playgrounds/pool is getting very hard.

I’m 36 weeks today. Going for exam today. Last week Monday I was checked at hospital and was a fingertip. So nothing going on just a lot of movement by lil guy. We have barely anything done except that I did get everything together on my registry to make sure I know what I need. Since DS will be in our room for the 1st three months, DH is just starting to get the baby’s room prepared. This weekend I will be going through all of DS1’s things and seeing what we can use now. Plus all the big items I have to bring them out of the basement or attic and have them re cleaned and ready to be used. I had a little scare last week. I hope baby doesn’t come sooner than expected. My last day of work will be 7/6. SOOOOO looking forward to it!!

I am beginning to feel uncomfortable while sleeping. I got a couple of Charlie horses on my calves which are killer!!! Tired as always but that comes with having a toddler to chase after. My bag is half packed thanks to my emergency run to the hospital last week. I have to wash DS coming home outfit.

I still have to buy the boys gifts for each other. Any ideas of what to get big brother from his lil bro and vice versa? I have to get DS1 his big brother shirt. Which I will probably make myself.

How are you feeling emotionally?

I am fine although even after taking prepared childbirth classes, the whole process still scares me. But what's making me more anxious is how we don't know when/how things will begin (unless you have a planned c/s).

It's not like with our wedding when we knew the exact date and time. With our LO, it can happen any day, any time, any place!

About a week away!

I am feeling pretty great ---- tired a lot and cannot go, go go, anymore. But I walk on the treadmill 3x per day (10-15 minutes each time), take my son for bike rides and to the park and just trying to stay active to promote labor. Baby feels so big in my belly(last Monday she measured 6-1/2 lbs) and I am carrying so much lower than with DS, so my bladder/lower stomach is always sore.

Went to the doctor yesterday. No progress at all. Baby is down but not engaged and I *might* be a fingertip dialated (I think doctor was just being kind). I have until 7/9 to go into labor on my own, with no induction meds, otherwise I have a C Section scheduled for 9 am on 7/10.

I'm getting nervous about the baby coming home. I remember DS being a newborn and how hard it was (in and of itself and with the C Section) and now I'll have to care for DS and a newborn I'm sure it will be fine. I am much more confident mother 3-1/2 years later but the sleep deprevation is scary.

I'm still waiting on the dresser for the nursery, otherwise we have everything all ready for DD's arrival.

Come on easy for all of us little ones!!!!

I can NOT believe it is July....my countdown says 7 days and 14 hours!!!! I am soooo excited to meet this baby and find out if we are having a boy or a girl! But I am soo anxious and nervous about the whole labor process. I just don't know what to expect or when to expect it which is difficult. I totally agree that the now knowing when something is going to happen makes it difficult. I also asked my doctor yesterday how long they wait until they induce somebody b/c that is what I am worrying about right now....I can't believe I'll be 39 weeks tomorrow!!!! Craziness!!!!!

I have been feeling great, just tired and swollen. My feet are puff balls and my fingers hurt when I first wake up in the morning.
I am 38 weeks as of yesterday, but I hope she doesn't come till at least next weekend b/c I do not want her birthday on July4th weekend.
I am a little nervous about labor, but can't wait to get it over with and just hold her. My furniture isn't in, there was a delay in production so they said 1st or second week in July, but everything else is pretty much washed and put together. I finally packed my bag the other day.
