How do Temp agencies work?
I'm sure it varies but at our company it's the hourly rate the temp agency charges my company. The temp agency gets a % of that,the temp gets is usually less.

How do Temp agencies work?
I used to do expenses and got all the temp invoices and the rate that was on there was what we paid the agency. The agency is responsible for paying the temps, so the temps would get slightly lower than we were seeing because the agency would get a percentage of what the company is invoiced.

I think it depends on the agency and the contract they have with the employer.

When I temped the agency told me what a job paid per hour. I never knew how much they charged the company .
