Re: Drinks for New Years Eve??
I posted this on the NFR board. I making cosmopolitans. I tested this recipe the other day & really liked it. I think I'm going to use citron or mandarin vodka.
Serves 4
1 cup vodka 1/2 cup triple sec 1/2 cup cranberry juice 1/4 cup freshly squeezed lime juice Pour all ingredients into a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake well and pour through a strainer into four martini glasses.
Very easy & very tasty. You can rim the the glasses with sugar for an extra special touch.

Re: Drinks for New Years Eve??
I'll either do apple or watermelon martinis or I found a recipe for something called a poinsettia. Sounds goood, I love champagne:
1 tbsp Grand Marnier® orange liqueur 1 part cranberry juice 1 part Champagne
Mix the champagne and cranberry juice, then float the Grand Marnier on top.
I also heard champagne w/ pomagranate juice is delicious.

That sounds good. Champagne w/Chambord is good too.
