Re: Vegas restaurants
my parents have eaten at and LOVE MIX- it is on top of mandalay bay We made reservations for our anniversary (we are going in about 2 weeks-) We heard the food is amazing, the restaurant is gorgeous- and very romantic!
RIO- we plan to eat at their seafood buffet- I heard it is about 50.00 and it is all you can eat lobster, shrimp, oysters, clams- etc... plus steaks and chicken etc...for the non fish eaters...
paris- we heard their brunch is great, but unless you have a larger group they don't take reservations
NY NY- my friend told me her husband LOVES the steak at Ghallagers...

Re: Vegas restaurants
I love love love Mon Ami Gabi in Paris. If you can manage to eat on the deck, you have a great view of the water show at the bellagio.

Re: Vegas restaurants
I was there a couple of years ago and here are my suggestions........
Rio Sea Food Buffet! A lil pricey but yum-o
Harrah's buffet. We ate here a lot and I really liked it, but we also stayed here so it was close and in Vegas EVERYTHING looks like it's about 1 blk away but it's really 1 mile!!!!
Treasure Island lunch buffet....do you see a pattern VERY VERY VERY good! The desserts alone are worth it!
Get a Pina Colada at the bar at the front entrance of Paris!!!!!!! OMG
Top of the World Restaurant in the Stratosphere a lil pricey but VERY worth it! Get the sig desert! It's a replica of the tower! Take a pic first
Aureole in Mandalay Bay--- The best meal in Vegas!!!! OMG LOVED IT!!!!!! The food is awsome, but the wine selection is Very pricey and a bit slow, but so worth it! This is the place to splurge on a nice dinner and enjoy quality time. This is more of an experience than anything and to watch them get the wine just makes you want to order more!
Rachael Ray did a $40 a day show there and if you go to the food network you can pull it up. I love Rachael but even if she gets on your nerves there are some good ideas there too
Hope this helps!! Have fun and if you like Carrot Top he is at the Luxor I believe...even if you don't like him his whole show is about Vegas and it is hysterical. I almost peed myself twice! So worth it

I second Delmonicos at the Venetion -- One of Emerils places
Burger Bar at Mandalay Bay -- casual. Every conceivable combo is available.
