Wow that's kind of harsh.
Not to mention, the Vikings stink anyway. Their biggest problem being they don't have a QB.
Funny enough, they actually did better without him there. If you remember Peterson broke the record for rushing yards that game...
Maybe they should PAY him to not be there!

i heard about this on mike and mike this morning. i HATE that they did this - making him choose - but the sad fact is that many companies have a bereavement policy that only covers ONE day for IMMEDIATE family members and after that it's either use your personal time or go unpaid. so unfair.

That is really rough!!!! They have to have some kind of policy in place for special circumstances like a death in the family. Life goes on, even during football season. These athletes are people and have familial obligations too.
