Re: What type of daycare you use?
I have 3 kids. It is more convenient and less expensive to have someone come to my house. I know this person through my cousin and she has been great.

Re: What type of daycare you use?
We started with DD at in house daycare services for about 3 - 4 months which she loved. She is now in a daycare facility (more convenient to home and work) which she is doing well in also. My DD just seems to be a happy girl and thankfully seems to adjust to her surroundings

In home. the sitter we use has 1 child of her own at home (the other one is in school for most of the day), and then she watches miki, my friends 3 year old and another 18 month old girl

Re: What type of daycare you use?
A daycare center that they run like a "school"
It gets annoying how they refer to the school year and go along with the school calendar by shutting down for a week during Christmas, Easter, and in August to prep for the 1st day of school in September (July/August is "camp")
But this means they retain amazing teachers and Bella LOVES it. It made my life easier with NOT ONE concern of whether or she is learning or well taken care of.
I will cry next week when she "moves up"

Re: What type of daycare you use?
I went back to work when DD was 4 months. I work 3 days a week. For the first year we had a nanny come to the apt 2 days a week and my dad watched her 1 day.
Now she's almost 16 months and I'll be teaching again in late August. We are doing a combination of my parents watching her and taking her to a daycare center 1 day a week.

Re: What type of daycare you use?
I answered "other" because we have a combination.
My mother has watched DS every day for us since he was 3 months old.
Starting next month when he is 1 year, she will still watch him 2 days a week and he will be going to a daycare center for 3 days a week. We wanted him to get the socialization skills started!
