Check out her registry and spend what you feel comfortable. In that situation I would say about $50, but whatever you can give is fine.
Other nice gifts are GC or books for the baby's library.

Same - I'd stay at $50... Maybe a $60-$65 item using a 20% off coupon...
If she's registered at Buy Buy Baby - they take Bed, Bath and Beyond coupons...

I give $100 for friends $150 for family for baby showers, but just give whatever you can afford...

I just spent about $40 on my friend's shower from work. and I got a lot of stuff at the Carter's outlet for that amount. she's going to have a work shower too, so I will be getting her a few more things for that one.
I think $50-$75 is fine.
if it was my BFF or sister, I would spend a LOT more.

Honestly, whatever you can afford!!!
I personally can NOT afford to give $100 to someone I am not that close to. Even $50 is a stretch for someone I barely see. So, give what you can afford. It's a gift. It's the thought. 
Also, is there someone you can go in on this with? I know that sometimes my mom and I will go in on a big gift like the high chair.
