That a girl!
That wait as the umps deliberated....I didn't leave my seat!! That was the most riveted I've been to baseball in a loooong while! That really took too long though, and the funny thing was when the umps came to talk to Wedge and Girardi and Girardi had enough and started to walk away.
That comeback win on Sunday made me feel WAY better after Saturday's debacle.

but - dare i say, after watching what happened on sunday, i'll say that the umps made the wrong call. Clearly interference - but I guess, after Saturday, the umps felt that the Yanks needed a break.

There was NO WAY that was an interference. It went right thru the guys arms and hit the top of the wall. Had he not been there, the outcome would've been the same.

the fact that the guy's arm was ANYWHERE near the outfielder trying to catch the ball, interferes with play, IMO.
I don't care that the ball went through his arms - his arm was in the line of sight for the outfielder. That's interference. The NY Times today had the perfect shot of it - you could see it as plain as day.
Like I said though - I get why the umpires felt they had to rule it a HR.

i still worry.. i cant help it.. i just dont have a good feeling for the mets this year. i think it will be tough for them..

gotta chill D. It's only April. Breath. It's a long season.
you'll see, soon enough the fish will go on a losing streak and we'll be sitting pretty come Sept.
im chilling..
i do think that the fish will fall... i just can't stand seeing mets play this way with RISP.. it kills me!!!!!!!!!!!!!
