Re: Gyn-only
I see Susan Scavo in Mineola. She's great but apparently she's in crazy high-demand.
I called for an appointment in early February and the next available one was in May.

Re: Gyn-only
At my practice, there are 3 OB-GYNs, one GYN (who I've seen but never met), and one Nurse Practitioner. I saw the Nurse Practitioner for everything - checkups, Paps, even when I had an ovarian cyst that needed monitoring - before I got pregnant. I could get an appointment with her the same week usually.
The practice is University Plaza Obstetrics & Gynecology in Mineola and the NP's name is Kathy.

Re: Gyn-only
dr. Deborah Zitner. she's in huntington with north shore medical group. she used to do OB, but stopped about 3 or 4 years ago. so now instead of waiting 6 months for an appt. you can get in to see her in a few weeks most of the time. there are still several docs in the group who do both though.

Good to know!
That's where Dr. Scavo was when she was ob/gyn and that office was pretty efficient.

Re: Gyn-only
I go to North Shore LIJ Women's Comprehensive Health Center in Manhasset and see Dr. Helen Greco, who does Gyn only. There are OB-GYNs in the practice, including high-risk which I'll need when we do start TTC so that's helpful, and I adore her. I've seen her twice and was able to get a quick appointment both times - they do sometimes SAY there is a wait but if you need to be seen quicker they squeeze you in. She also wants to insert an IUD for me but said it is best to do so when I have my period so she gave me her cell to text her and she'll fit me in. I think that kind of care is amazing!
