DH said "you're not going to test for at least a week, right?"
And I said "oh no way am I waiting that long! I have 50 internet cheapie HPTs and Im going to use them!"

Me too. I am 6dpo, and due on the 29th. I am hoping I lost AF in Maryland last month.
Kathy- I heard from a PG friend that the line on the cheapies was so faint she could barely see it and it wasnt dark until she was like 3 months along. But maybe I shouldnt tell you this unitl you are 14dpo so you dont run out and spend your diaper money on more tests.

Pauline, Oh yeah I know they arent the greatest but the others are too expensive to play with. After 10-12dpo if I dont have AF I'll use my "big guns" (Equate).

Jeez I get absolutely NO warning from AF -- she just shows up when the mood strikes her!! So if nothing happens by the end of the month...I'll be POASing in Alaska!! Hope it doesn't freeze on me!!

I use two - Fertility Friend and Ovusoft. But bad thing is that after you have your free 2 week trial with Ovusoft, you have to pay for the software. I think it was $39.99 flat fee, no other fees/dues.
I like it a lot...but sometimes it has a mind of its own and my chart is all messed up, so for the last couple of months Ive been using FF. Its just as good and free.
ETA: here is my FF chart
Free trial for only 2 weeks? No thank you... FF does the job  . Thanks.

me neither, but thanks. 8dpo, boobs starting to hurt can't tell yet if its any different than EVERY other month that has ended with a BFN!

I hope it goes up and stays up! But, thing is, I feel PMSy - all the typical AF is coming symptoms. So, I dont know what to think yet for this cycle. If AF comes, I'm OK with that...and we'll start Clomid next cycle and try again!

Kathy, I know exactly what you are saying. Every month I convince myself AF syptoms are PG sym,ptoms. I am trying so hard not to do it this month, but it is still happening.
What makes it harder for me is my first PG, I was convinced AF was coming. I will never forget saying at the RE consult, "the way my boobs are hurting AF should be here any day" and 5 days later I got my BFP.
Now every time I tell DH this might be it, he says Pauline dont do that to yourself, cause this has ended with a lot of BFN's and he knows how much they upset me when I was "convinced" it would be a BFP. But I like your attidue and I am going to try and keep it too. If this doesnt work I will move on to Clomid next month .
