 sorry your sad, I've have been through that stage. It still happens to me sometimes. I know some RE's have support groups that may be helpful. I know LIIVF has one. RSOFNY has this list on there website of people they recommend for support . On of them is out east link

So far I have called two people from recommendations on here; that are not taking new patients. But they have both referred me to other therapists; but I never called to follow thru.
I will FM you their info.
And unfortunately, I have been THAT person; leaving a party full of kids just to cry hysterically in the car on the way home. I finally had to put my foot down and decline all Birthday invites; or any BBQ get togethers with little ones there. And DH will refuse to go as well. It hits him just as hard; if not harder.

I have a therapist who knows all the REs in the area, she is located in Massapequa. .

I left my husband at his friends house this weekend when we went for a BBQ. All his friends were there with their wives and kids. The men were all talking and the women were outside with the kids playing. I had nothing to do and nothing to say to anyone. I took the keys and just left - couldn't deal with saying goodbye and having to explain things.
Now I'm dreading my SIL and my brother's gender reveal party - I actually think I might not go. It's in my sisters apt. there's no place to escape when I get upset and I just can't deal with it.

I remember being so sad at those evens. I saw a therapist recommended on here but she literally fell asleep on me. I never went back.

Dr. Kris Bevilacqua is an infertility specialist, but I believe she's in Nassau. You can call her and ask if she can refer you to someone in Suffolk. I specialize in infertility, but I'm not on LI so it's difficult for me to suggest someone. Another option is to look at the Resolve website for therapists in your area. I will ask around and FM you if I can find someone in Suffolk.

Thank you for the FMs and recommendations. I normally have a handle on my emotions, but I think the reality of everything is hitting me harder than normal. Last week was the breaking point, as I was osterized by the "mom group" and told to "just adopt" if I want a kid so bad
