05 Mommies not yet preggo with #2...

It's now gotten to the point where I get the question on a daily basis - at LEAST 2x a day.

The other day Jake's daycare teacher "yelled" at me because "You're going to leave him all alone?!?!!"

We will probably, maybe TTC at some point this year. (Makes me nervous just typing that ) But it's not something I'm going to walk around announcing.

So how do you handle the daily questions? I'm really running out of excuses and things to say!

I can't help but think - gosh what if we were TTCing and having issues and here's everyone "blaming" me for not having another yet! ("WHY don't you want another one?")

So Baby Dust to those of you who are TTCing and getting harassed like me!

I am NOT Trying but get asked this and I'm like people MYOB. I find it even more annoying than when people would ask before we had ryan. "how far apart do you want your children". Leave me alone!!

I have realized after having my first 2 and then 8 years of infertility until the twins that is a damn rude question.

I would turn around and say well i am having infertility issues but thanks for your well wishes...
watch that question never be asked again.

After I had the twins and such a span I got asked if it was by accident or a mistake?
I almost freaked...
so i just announced proudly nope..they are IVF babies--no such thing as a accident...

I think about it all of the time...
I am an open book so people know where I am at and why...BUT there is a lot of pressure on me in my family to produce another grandchild.

I'm not pregnant yet but we haven't started officially trying.
I've thought about it for a while now and already had my mind made up that I want another one. I get asked by people too and I always say "soon".


Incase anyone wants to know...my fertile days are at the end of this month, so that's when we're trying.

Well- Im offically off BCP-

BUT now Im toying with going back to school sooooooooooooooooo I *might* go back on after this months AF...

Im terrified- and there is so much I wanna do before I get preggo again- but I dont want my kids to be to far apart either...

Everyone has been asking lately- I just say "when I hit the lotto" joking around- that usually gives people a chuckle- and quiets them down...

its very strange that I havent gotten those questions at all, My son is about the same age as yours. Only a few here and there but I have told people (because I know that they are curios but just not asking ) that it is hard to afford 2 kids in daycare which is the reason unfortunately for us. Also its a stress factor, while Ds was a great toddler he was handful as an infant and I just dont know if Im ready for the baby stage yet. With Bryan I was able to stay home for 18months but with baby number 2 if would have to go back right away due to different lifestyles (new house, car, bills etc.)

We are waiting prob until next Jan because Im only 29 I have this luxury, i know that Ds will be 4.5 when next baby is born and Im starting to come to terms with that. Originally I wanted them closer but this is the way life played out for us. Plus he wil be a big help to me Im sure which is a bonus of having them further apart. Also ther is never a guarantee that they will be close or not based on age so I try not to dwell on that too much. Hopefully Im making some sense here and not just rambling


eta: Also a big thing for me is that Bryan has a cousin that is 9 days apart, he is my Dh brothers son and the boys are extremely close -like brothers they go to the same daycare and see each other every single day. The are attached to each other so that takes off a bit of the pressure for us to give him a companiion/sibling. My bil and sil have not had a second child yet either.

Funny - when I had my MC a lot of people knew I was preggo because I was showing and couldn't really hide it anymore. But before that everyone was harrassing us about having another baby.

I told my husband that the silver lining to everyone knowing I had a MC was they would probably NEVER ask us again when we are having another one.

The DAY I had my D&C I got my nails done and my nail girl was harrassing me about it...I just wanted to bawl...you NEVER know someones situation which is why I don't understand how people could be so forward.
