Re: 1 Bedroom Apartment for Rent in Lindenhurst
Question- were you getting this much previously?
I think thats a little high rent for Lindenhurst for that apt. Our Apt in Lindenhurst in a complex, which allows pets and smoking is only $1040 and we have been here 3 years. We have a full EIK, a full LR, a Full Dining room, private parking, and a huge bedroom with closets. Heat is included, we pay for electric, but everything is Gas, so Our Electric bill is less then $30 a month.
My MIL only pays $950 for a brand new 1 bedroom, and my Mom $1025 in our complex. HEr apt is all new as well.
I think your close, but with a kitchen/living room combo, and slanted walls..I think thats high..
although I do admit the apt. market is small so you may find someone. What about reducing it say $100 for a single person ( who uses less heat/gas etc) and keep it at that for a coupld? That might get you someone faster.
If your in no rush, then Stay at that price and wait it out.

Re: 1 Bedroom Apartment for Rent in Lindenhurst
Thank you for your advice, but it's been rented for this price for over 4 years and we've never had a problem renting it, nor have the previous owners of the house.

Thats great then...Like I said the real estate market for Apts is tight so you'll likly get someone soon. I hope you can, if you can get that much for the apt, it would be great.
