1 day Late

I am using CBEFM and it says I should of gotten my AF yesterday, cd 24 (yesterday). I ovulated on cd 15.

Does that seem early to you? As Leslie said, I don't want to be dissapointed twice, when NEG and AF shows up, so don't want to POAS

I am trying to refrain until cd 30, because i just think cd 24 is too early.

What do you think??? Its So exciting, scary, and nervewrecking!Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

That does sound early...you might have a 24 day cycle (which is ok) but the problem is your Luteal Phase length...

if you O on day 15 and are scheduled to get AF on day 24 that is only 9 days between your O & AF which might create a problem with implantation...

Luteal phase lengths of less than 10 days are considered too short for implantation to occur, and may thus indicate a problem with successfully achieving pregnancy. In such an instance, the egg may be fertilized, but the endometrium is sloughed off before implantation can occur. This condition is sometimes referred to as a luteal phase defect. If you suspect you have a short luteal phase, you should see your healthcare professional about it. Short luteal phases may be corrected with progesterone treatment.

So I think you are better off with your AF being "late" which creates a longer LP....

Thanks!
Since I didn't get it yesterday, doesn't that mean that its now 10 days? The CBEFM is usually a day early for me. Does that mean everything is OK?

24 is VERY early for me, my typical cycles are 28 to 31 days. In fact, last month I O'd on cd 18 and had a 31 day cycle.

What do you think? Does that sound ok?Chat Icon
