1 year & switching away from bottles??

Dd is 1 year on the 22. Do I take the bottles away and give sippys or can I stiL let her have a bottle in the morn and night ?

we took the bottle away from DD cold turkey. but she was introduced to the sippy and straw cup starting at 6-7 months

w/ DS we were down to one bottle at 11 months and 12 1/2 months we took that bottle away

Adriano was completely weaned off the bottle at the end of 18 months. I wasn't in a super hurry to take them away. To me he was still sucha little baby at 1. It was a gradual process taking 1 bottle feeding at a time. The last one to go was the one before bed time. Now he doesn't even drink any milk right before bed. You should do what makes you feel comfortable, keep your baby's needs in mind, forget about the "rules"

Thanks ...I think I will do the gradual taking away and she drinks from sippys so the midday one I can let her have the milk in her sippy and keep the mornkng and night bottle still....it is so hard to get rid of the night one she loves that although tonight she fell asleep with not having one so who knows
