Gia - Books, errings and a pillow pet
Nicolas - books, building blocks and a pillow pet.
We're not getting them a lot. They really had no interest in opening their gifts on their birthday and they have sooo many toys. I also know the families will be going crazy this year with toys so we won't.

DH and I are going to go pick out 1 toy and some books, and I've ordered some clothes. I'll probably end up letting him wear the clothes before Christmas.
He's still young, he really doesn't get it --- and he's spoiled by soooo many people. We're going to save some $ and splurge next year when he really understands

Re: 1 year old girls ( or boys)..Christmas?
She got a Step 2 Lifestyle Dream kitchen for her birthday (a HUGE hit) and will get the following for Hanukkah:
Melissa and Doug pantry and fridge sets Melissa and Doug Spill and fill pocketbook Disney princess book with "cd player" and "CDs" Little People Pink Train (she plays with her brother's trains so I think she will like this) Fisher Price See n' Say Dance Star Mickey Disney Princess Bath time Ariel
She is also getting an upholstered chair from her grandparents.
Other things that were on my list but did not make the final cut were the Playskool Busy Ball Popper and the Playskool Popin' Pals.
