10 Yr anniversary- Restaurant suggestions
Its at end of month and on a thurs night and I would like to celebrate on that day.
He loves steak houses, I don't but will go.
I went to Prime thought it was ok.
Rare650 I hear is good but also cougar night on thurs night.
We are in Nassau and prefer to stay somewhat local based on being a school night.
Would like a nice setting and not crazy $$ if possible. We are literally just coming back from a family vaca 4 days prior.
Any other suggestions?

I love Capital Grill. I love their lobster Mac and cheese!
Eta: I also love Bryant and cooper. An little more old-school/less trendy but great steaks and other foods as well.
I'm also really impressed with ThomThom in Wantagh. I had never gone before because living here all my life, I suppose I overlooked it. But been there about 4 times and the steak and sushi are both delicious, as are the appetizers.

We just celebrated our 5th anniv at George Martin Strop Steak and loved it. I don't eat steak and my fish was amazing. So we're the sides. It's intimate and cozy. They had a great acoustic group playing songs like killers, Jack Johnson, etc all acoustic.

My sister and BIL always go to Capital Grill for their anniversary. Supposedly the lobster mac and cheese is supposed to be good (i've never been).

I like Cliffs Elbow Room out east... Its a quaint place, with awesome steaks...But it is pretty far out...in Jamesport.... www.elbowroomli.com/

Louie's in Port Washington has a great view and food or Toku in Manhasset if you both like sushi.

Eta- I just saw you said you don't love steak houses. If that's the case then I would go more with Capital Grilll.
