Re: 100 lb weighloss
I am sure it's possible.
It's interesting to me because I know a couple of people who have had surgery and honestly (no flames) they don't look all that different to me.
I don't know if it's because they aren't following the diet plan or if it's excess skin or what.
FWIW, I love hearing stories though of people who lost a ton of weight by changing their diet and exercising. Very inspiring!

Absolutely. I work in fitness and I've seen it happen. It's not at all easy, but it is100% possible.

Absolutely with proper diet and exercise. I know quite a few people who lost a ton of weight; one being my sister!! She lost about 90lbs with WW and incorporating exercise into her lifestyle.

Yes. I it have lost over 160 pounds through diet and exercise alone. It has been hard but I keep going. I still need to lose over another 100 pounds. It's a work in progress.

Absolutely! In fact, a friend of mine lost over 100 lbs with WW years ago ( probably over 12 years) and has kept almost all of it off.

Re: 100 lb weighloss
Of course it is. If you gained it, you can lose it the right way.
Matter of fact... if you put in the work I think you're more apt to keep it off. When making healthy decisions becomes a part of your life, that's how you succeed.

Re: 100 lb weighloss
I have this debate with myself daily. I think the surgery helps you lose it more quickly-BUT you also get saggy skin requiring another surgery. The risks of surgery are there too. Ultimately, I think losing it on your own is just chugging along putting one foot in front of the other and not quitting if you mess up!Also figuring out how to have foods that you like in smaller portions, or filling up with salad or soup before meals so you eat less...
