Re: 100th Day of School Activities
when I taught kindergarten last year we sent home a note asking the parents to help their kids make t-shirts with 100 of some object - pennies, foam pieces, beads, etc. They came out great - some got very creative and made the objects into the # 100, it was great. then the whole Kindergarten had a 100th day parade in school to show off their cool shirts. As a grade level we did rotating centers that revolved around 100th day stuff. The classes went to each kindergarten room and did the activity - for example my room was pin the tail on the 100 (on the 100 board)
Thie year I am in 2nd grade and I am having them make a t-shrit if they want and bring in a collection of 100 of something
The first grade in my school had them bring in 100 pieces of a small snack (M&M's, cheerios, etc)

Re: 100th Day of School Activities
Our 100th day is Feb. 12th. It should be around then. I think we started Sept. 5th or 6th...

Re: 100th Day of School Activities
My students bring in their hundred collections of whatever small items they are collecting and they sort and count them by 2's, 5's, 10's etc. We estimate and compare weights of the collections using the balance scale.
We take a 100 step walk, before we leave we make predictions where we'll end up.
We play a race to 100 game, using a hundred chart and a die, they roll until they reach 100.
They make 100th Day crowns and decorate them with 100 pictures (stars, shapes, sequins etc).
100 good deeds, each of my 25 students have to do 4 nice things for someone.
I teach first grade.

Re: 100th Day of School Activities
I teach 1st. In the past I have done the posters w/ 100 small items. I also have them do a 100 Day Challenge packet. One part has them name 100 things. On their paper there are 10 categories (names, colors, animals, etc) they have to name 10 of each. They love it. They get out their clipboards & search the room for ideas.
I also do 100 board games w/ dice.
make necklaces from fruitloops. group colors into 10's & string them on yarn.
We do 100 second activities (how many times can you write your name, how many jumping jacks can you do, etc.)
My personal fave- we have 100 seconds of silence so they can see how long it is
