whenever they play an xmas song, they take the 106th caller and give them 1,000 bucks

I told DH this weekend when I was shopping, I was drawn to the Christmas decorations OVER Halloween!!! I wish it was late November already!!!!

Just another example of how Christmas is becoming a commercialized circus.
Especially the stores- they figure the earlier they put the stuff out, the more money we will spend.
It's ruining it for me- more and more every year.... 
Right there with you. Whatever happened to the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade as being the official kickoff to the holiday season??
And isn't that what the Elf on a Shelf is all about??

I LOVE Christmas Music and wish there was one station devoted to it already! It's what I listen to exclusivley during Nov and Dec.
I know it's silly, but it just makes me feel festive!

Wow! I know in my brain that it's way too early, but... I LIVE for this! I am a nonstop Car-karaoke singer, and when 106.7 has 24 hours of Christmas music, it's all-singalong, all the time. Good for me, bad for my DH who has to put up with it. 
When does that start? Nov. 1, or after Thanksgiving?

It's not special if you can always get it easily. 
Remember when the Wizard of Oz coming on 1x a year was special, and you'd watch it? Now, it's all on demand or dvd or whatever, and there's no buildup...you know?
