11 month old waking early
DD use to sleep to 8 or 8:30 as a new born, then it slowly crept up to 7:30. Now at 11 months she is waking up at 6:15. Any tips for getting her to sleep later. She usually goes to bed between 7:45 and 8:15. It was later but she didn't sleep later.

Re: 11 month old waking early
I could have written this post, except my son goes down at 7, and used to sleep until 7, but for the past 5 days it has been 6am, or even 5:45. I don't know what to do either. Even though its only an hour, 6am is SO much earlier than 7!

Re: 11 month old waking early
I had the same issue with DS when he was about the same age, except he woke up at 5 AM . I realized after a while that though he was making noises, he wasn't completely awake, if that makes sense. If I waited out a little whining, he'd eventually go back to sleep for a couple of hours. Have you tried waiting it out a little to see if she goes back to sleep or do you immediately go to her?

Re: 11 month old waking early
Mybe it has to do with Daylight Savings coming? Last week Marron started doing this nonsense too. I just went in and sternly told her it is NOT time to wake up, that she had to take her binky and go back to sleep. And she DID for about an hour. She then got up at her usual time of a little after 7 and has been sleeping til then since that day.

we had this progressing earlier and earlier to 3:30 when I decided I couldn't take it. He CIO'd 1 night and now falls back asleep after talking to himself a little while.

Re: 11 month old waking early
Ahhh! Jordana and I went through this about 2 weeks ago. She is the same age. For abou 7 months she has been waking up at 7:30. Then she started waking up at 5:30. All of a sudden it stopped, and now she is waking up closer to 8.
I think its just a phase and she will grow out of it. Good luck
