12-18 month moms and btds..or really anyone...what is your kids current obsession?
my kid is OBSESSED with hats. hats of all kinds. your hate, my hat, his hat....hat hat hat. he lOVES them. he plays with his baby hats...he takes us to the shelf where the hats are hanging and asks for them.."gorra" (he says it in spanish)
and thank GOD, he has no problem wearing them. 
he is also a dancing fool. he cannot hear music...even a little melody, without stopping whatever he's doing to move his little body and smile. he LOVES music.
it's cuteness to the maximum. 
kill me with the cuteness of your lo's!

ds HATES hats..LOL. I cant get him to wear one for nothing.
lately he loves his markers.. i bought the color wonder ones and a color wonder book so it only makes marks on the special paper. he loves to see the marker make the mark and scribble.
he loves music too.
oh..ETA....LOOOVES BIRDS AND CARS..or anything moving really. He will sit by our dining room window and watch birds go by; goes nuts when he sees them outside. its soo funny..he's been that way since he was 6mo or so.

Right now DS is obsessed with trains...Real trains. We live right across the street from the LIRR and he gets super excited when we say "Here comes the choo-choo". He will stop doing whatever he is doing and walk or crawl as fast as he can over to the window to be picked up. He sits on the table we have in front of the window and he laughs and smiles and kicks his feet. He also loves to dance, but he only likes the NCIS theme song and the weather channel music. LOL

DS is only 10m but can I play?
Music!!!
I never thought a baby would love and respond to music this much. He used to just bop his tush up and down and now he waves his head side to side with the beat.
I'm so excited I can't wait to teach him to play piano, I'm itching!
We left the sound part of the mobile for him to play with and he presses the buttons and stands there and waves his head to the classical melody it makes my heart melt!
He's also obsessed with looking outside the window and listening to me tell him everything that's happening. I said snow so many times in the past months, that this morning he looked out and kept saying "tsa!" "tsa!"

He just started rolling his cars on the floor I think its the cutest thing ever.
Also DS loves LOVES music, we have a piano in the living room he goes over there and "plays" it, also goes to the stereo every morning and waits for me to turn it on (its the same cd we keep listening over and over again) he also has a mini piano in the kitchen that he plays while he eats.
And of course his socks, this has been going on for a while, he takes his socks off while eating, or just about anywhere throws them in random places I'm constantly putting his socks back on.

hahah S is always taking of his socks too! I always smell his little feet and stay stinky feet and lately he has been imitating me and smellign them too. it is very funny but i think i need to stop encouraging this behavior lol

C is OBSESSED with the dishwasher, darts over as soon as its opened! Also, looking out the windows to see cars drive by. He could watch cars allllll day!

Elmo. LOVES him some Elmo. If he sees Elmo gear (like a shirt) he'll bring it to me, tell me "Melmo " and duck his head so I can put it on him.
And I'll catch him sitting and just start swaying and singing "La La Melmoooo"
Other obsession is his big brother.

Toy Story. Any of the 3 movies, any stuffed animal or figurine. He walks around the house chanting "woody, woody" when he wants the movie in. For Christmas he got every single toy related to the movie. We are addicted!

DS is obsessed with the garbage (yuck)! He pulls things out of it all day long.
He also LOVES music and dancing. If we are in a store or restaurant and there is background music playing he dances to it, claps and says "yahhhh" when every song is over.
He also loves his bedroom closet. It's a big double closet with sliding doors and he loves to play in it!

Cats she just learned to say cat so she is always playing with her toy cat any book with cat in it she screams cat cat cat any tv show or commercial with a cat in it she crawls to the tv scream and points saying cat! she is too cute

DS is all about music. Loves to dance, wiggle, double fist pump - you name it.
He also loves Mega Blocks. Someone posted of a deal over the holidays on here & we got them - wow...LOVES them. Daddy & I will build something and he starts laughing as he runs over to knock it down. This will go on for hours.

Lately everything we give DD is "hot" and she waves her little hand over it or blows on it. And everything we give her to drink is "appa duice"... it's funny that she says that b/c we hardly give her apple juice.

DS is obsessed with the dishwasher, stairs and toilet right now. DH was doing dishes one day and two minutes later he couldn't find DS either - he was upstairs playing in our toilet.
On a more fun note - he loves the phone. He walks aroudn with his play phone and the remote and puts it to his ear and says "Hi".
He's also really into reading books with flaps right now. And taking things out of containers/drawers and putting them back in.

sometimes its hats - he MAKES things into hats! He has a toy with little gears, he brings them to me, points to my head and says HAT! I let him put it on my head and he cracks up. I LOVE IT!!!
his major obsession right now is baseballs. We have 3-4 laying around the house and he carries them around with him, lays them in a row, makes them into shapes, etc. He's crazy. hahahha

grout and cracks in the floor. lol. My MIL has 2 cracks in her floor and DS is obsessed with them. Stares at them, touches them, sits on the floor and follows them with his finger.

Elmo. He hears or sees elmo and stops everything. Music too. He loves to dance. He will even try dancing on the changing table if I sing to him. He shares this love with his mommy. I will put on elvis and we both will dance.
