UPDATED 1/27- HE'S OK! I AM TAKING MY DH TO THE HOSPITAL
DH has not been doing well. He is still in so much pain and has been feeling worse the past few days. He refuses to go the ER and called his doctor, who will try to see him tomorrow.
I hate feeling helpless and don't know what else to do.
Update-
DH is still in pain so I am leaving work to bring him to the hospital. Please pray that he's ok.

John is home. The doctor said that a blood vessel popped, which is why he is in so much pain. The swelling was abnormal. It turns out that the nurse in recovery never gave us the post care sheet that the doctor typed up. if she had, we would have known that something was wrong sooner and John wouldn't have been in so much pain. So for now, I am busy with all the things the doctor instructed to make the swelling go down. Luckily, the arteries are good and structurally (word the doc used) he is ok. We both breathed a sigh of relief because we were both scared that the cancer had returned. If he doesn't feel better by tomorrow, then we have to go back to the doctor.

He does have pain meds (Vicodin extra strength) and they are not really helping him. He had a fever but it's gone now. I hate that he is so stubborn. He has a pretty high pain threshhold, and for him to say he's in pain and stay home from work this long is a big thing.
I just feel so bad.

I hope your DH feels better soon. Men can be so stubborn at times....can drive us women crazy....if only they would listen!!! Any ways, I hope that he's okay...and hang in there....I'm sure he will get himself to the doctor....
