13 hr. drive to OBX with 2 little ones
Gonna be going to the Outer Banks in July with our 2 children. My DS will just have turned 2 and my DD will be 9 1/2 months.
What are some treats, toys, ideas to keep them entertained and us sane!!!!

We are doing the same exact drive with our 11 month old and 3 year old. The car DVD player is our SAVIOR!!! For the 11 month old, I'll bring puffs and yogurt melts for the car and maybe some toys that shake and make noise.
For my 3 year old, juice boxes, goldfish, animal crackers, and she has this Wiggles radio that she loves listening to...all Wiggles all the time...WooHoo  LOL We'll probably also bring her some of those color wonder sets that come with the hard case she can lean on. I'm actually hoping to plan the trip very carefully around nap times so they'll spend good portions sleeping.
Good luck...we're gonna both need it!!!!

Color Wonders are the markers that only work on the special paper it comes with, so no need to wrry about mess.

I agree love the color wonders...and also those travel magna doodles (i think they are called) I always have mine in my diaper bag - the one where you draw with a magnet-type pen and can erase with the slide of a button
I also love the DVD for long car rides
