13 weeks

I am at about 13w3d, It's truly okay to tell people now right? I can start to feel happy and excited too right?

I was so reserved about being happy and excited through the first trimester because of my m/c in July, then conceiving this one immediately after without AF. What an agonizing couple months it's been.

Just want to make sure...

It's totally a personal decision when to tell people. I know lots of people who waited til they were 3 months to tell people.

I say go ahead and tell people as long as you are comfortable and ready. I'm sure you want to share your excitement.

if you feel safe, then tell people. This time around, we waited till about 10 weeks to tell close friends and around 12 for everyone!

Well youre officially in your 2nd trimester and that is the time when a lot of people start telling.

Welcome to 2nd Trimester. Of course you should feel happy & excited about your pregnancy. Since you are 13 weeks, you should ask your doctor about the "Neucal" Sonogram. A lot of doctors are starting to do this test; fairly new though. It is a sonogram where they take measurements of the babies skin folds on their neck and draw a little blood from the mother and it is a predicting factor for Down's. Very accurate test, compared to the one they offer later on in the pregnancy. Just some helpful advise. Best of luck with the rest of your pregnancy and have fun telling all your friends & family.
