14 days left and mucus plug question

I lost my mucus plug this morning. I'm 1cm and 30% effaced. I have to go for a blood test this morning b/c I have severe itching on my hands and feet. Hopefully it's nothing. I wonder how long after you lose the mucus plug does labor actually start?

It can vary - sometimes it means that labor is imminent. I've also heard of others who lose it and nothing happens. With my previous 2 pregnancies I didn't lose it until I was at the hospital being admitted to l&d. Hope this is it for you!!

I have heard it can mean labor in the next day or two or the next week or two. Let's hope it's the sooner!

I have heard that it can mean labor will happen within 48 hours but then again my SIL losts hers & didn't go into labor for 2 weeks.

As for me, I have 6 days left & still did not loose it

I went into labor with DS 24 hours after I started losing my mucus plug. I was exactly two weeks early. GL!
