14+ month - need new toys ideas
It's time to update DS' toys again.
I just got him a Little People farm tractor. So we will add to the collection.
He still loves his FP laugh and learn house. He is fascinated with the mailbox. He really just plays with the mailbox all day long for months now.
I am thinking about construction blocks, etc.. Is that his age level?
If so, which one did you get?
Any suggestion is good.

Ale loves her Melissa & Doug puzzles. She doesn't put them together, but does love tot ake them apart. She also loves puppets.
But most of all, she loves to play with the front door - swing it back and forth - or to feed her toys to Scout. 
PS She has blocks but just kind of tosses them about.

We have the Melissa & Doug cardboard stacking blocks. Got them in BRU. She loves to watch me stack them up (I count the blocks as I do it), and then loves to knock them down. She giggles like crazy. Plus they nest inside one another, so it takes up no room.
They make big Leggos, DD loves those. MIL got her a set from Target that come in a plastic container and you can build on top of it. They're large, baby-friendly Leggos.
DD also loves the babydoll stroller I got her. I know your son won't be playing with one of those, but what about a shopping cart, or something to push around?
DD is extremely obsessed with books right now, esp. little books.
ETA: DD has the chair Kate posted too, and she loves it!! She loves to hit the lamp and make it go on/off.

DD's into her books too. She's constantly walking around with one, attempting to read it. She'll hand you them and say "book"...and want you to read to her. It's really cute.
I just got her a Little People farm house and she's somewhat into it.
She LOVES her cellphones and banging the tops of the pots together like symbols.
For the most part, we're outside a lot in the backyard and she is OBSESSED with rocks and digging in the dirt. She'll carry her pail around and put all her rocks in it after they've had a careful inspection (see avatar  ).
She's an earth girl, what can I say!

Lily loves her shiopping cart - she takes stuff out, puts stuff in, pushes it around...very exciting!
She LOVES books...she'll sit and "read" them herself, or bring them to us to read.
She's got a few puzzles that are fun to take apart and chew on the pieces.

Sophie, Christopher LOVES trucks. He has the Wheel Pals in 3 different sizes and actually loves them all.
These are the little ones, which we really like for the beach, actually
This is the big one
He also has a Megablock construction truck he loves.
He also really loves his ball popper
But he loves to try to figure out how it works
He has a basketball hoop that he plays with...
And since he likes the Laugh and Learn house, there is also the piano
and chair...both of which we have and are very cute

Yes. He is very into books too. He loves his book and will read them for a long time, etc..
Do you think he is too young for a kitchen type thing? I plan on getting him a small climber/slide for indoors in the next few months.

Thanks! Yes, I remember seeing those trucks.
He still plays with his musical once in a while.
I like that ball popper. DS loves to make things "work".

Cailen really does not have a lot of interest in toys. But, he loves cars, and anything with balls. We got him a little ball toy where you hit the ball with a hammer and it goes down a ramp which he loves. He also loves blocks....
He likes "manipulatives" rather than button type toys.... anything he can pick up, put in buckets, stack, carry around, etc....

Jack loves his little shopping cart that I got him. He walks it all around the house putting random items in it. If I can't find something....I know it's in his cart!
He has all of the little people things - he is just now starting to play with them.
Loves all books. I got a few books that talk - he loves the one where Abby Cadabby reads to him and can listen to that for hours (Fun right?! )
I also got this little Leap Frog magnet thing - that you put the animals in - it sings songs and tells you what you put in (pig, horse etc) - he is obsessed with this - I'll show you it on Fri!
Oh - the ball pit - he loves this as well!

This one has a seat that raises and you can store stuff in it - and it has shapes that you can match up and push thru on the sides
DD still plays with both her learning home and kitchen, the LF learn around playground with ball topper, and her vtech sit to stand dance tower. She also has some blocks that she likes too and a tickle me elmo. She loves books, especially the board ones with touch and feel and can sit for a while with them and flip pages and name the animals.

We have the alphabet pal. Guess what he does with it. He plays with the cord. 
I just got him the little people tractor and trainer with the cow. He is "ok" with it.

We got DD the ball popper and the laugh and learn piano at 12 months old and at 19 she is still playing with them she loves them.
she is into books, coloring, puzzles now and her kitchen set.

Sophie - go to Marshalls - there is one down the block from me - they have a GREAT toy selection.
Tons of puzzles, books, toys, flash cards, Melissa and Doug toys - all for LOW LOW prices!

We have the Melissa & Doug cardboard stacking blocks as well..Noah LOVES them....so many uses...
We have blocks he likes now.
BOOKS of course.
He loves his shopping cart too and play food, and that type of stuff.
He has a toy vaccum he is obsessed with.
He likes his ride on toys.
Any thing like play hammers, etc..he likes stuff that looks "real".
And puzzles.
