14 weeks until LI 10K
I've run 6 miles before when I just decided to follow Hal Higdon's 10k novice training schedule just to see if I could do it. I did it twice, but that was 2 months ago when it was warmer.
With the cold weather and running on the treadmill I've lessened my mileage but still run 3 miles a few times per week.
So now the question is since there are 14 weeks until my first 10K race, how should I train? Should I keep following the novice training schedule which is only 8 weeks and repeat week 7 until may 6? or should i try to finish the novice schedule and move up to the intermediate schedule?
this is my first 10k so I'm a little nervous and want to push myself but not too hard where it has a negative affect.
sorry so long....i hope someone has some advice :)

Besides the running, what else are you doing?
