15 minute drive turned to an hour and a half
My DH just called me. He works 15 minutes away. He takes the wantagh parkway should have been at work at 9:30 umm still not there!

It is crazy out there. They have roads all blocked off everywhere. I still have teachers and parents straggling in at my job.

yea! i'm an 8 min drive to my office...took me almost 1/2 an hour...and that was taking only back roads!!!!

Wow! I was really lucky - I left for work from Medford at 7:50 and got here at 9:15 - I ended up taking Jericho to Old Country and driving the truck through the lakes, but I was reasonably on time.

i jsut called my dh at his parents house in farmingdale to tell hi to go home before it gets worse. does he listen? no....so frustrating.

Oh wow. I better leave now to get to my mom's so we can see my dad in the hospital... It looks like it's letting up here, but I guess the roads are still bad. Luckily it's all back roads -- hopefully it won't be too bad.
Anyone who has to drive today - be careful!!

Yep. I was on the Wantagh this morning... a 35 min commute turned into a 2.5 hr commute for me. And I got OFF the wantagh at Hempstead Tpke!!
