15 months old and he still doesn't call me mommy!!!!
What the HELL??? He called me mommy briefly 5 mts ago, and then decided to just call me dad or daddy...

it happened to me too. DH didn't spend nearly as much time with him as I did which pizzed me off more. Now it's all about MOMMY!!!!!

I hear ya. My DD is 14 months and everything is about the Dada
She even sings songs: Da da dada da da dadda.
The funny thing is her first word was Mama sooo many months ago. But, as soon as she learned the word Dada, Mama became history.
Oh well I'm sure one day the Mama will return.

Hannah didn't start saying mama/mommy until about 16 months or so. It's so frustrating since I'm the one always with her!!!
Don't worry he'll start and then you'll want to change your name to daddy

If it makes you feel any better - Lily said the cat's name before she said "mama". And she would call him by name when he walked into the room.

My DS does the same. He calls me mama. He never said Dada though. Well he did a little bit and this was when he was like maybe 8 months old. So he doesn't call DH dada, he does however call him papa.

Jayden says Mommy sometimes, but lately he's been calling me "Ste!" His version of "Steph" which is what DH (and Nate sometimes) calls me.
