16 month old--Grinding Teeth
Is this normal? She does it during the day while she is awake Should I be worried and call the dentist?

My DD started doing this a couple of months ago. She learned that her teeth make noise when she does it, so she was doing it non-stop. It only lasted about a week and she hasn't done it again since. Thank goodness because the noise would go right through me.
If she keeps doing it I would called the ped to see what they say.

my first DD did this from around 7 month old till well after her first birthday. I hated it...but she eventually stopped.

I find DS (17 months) will only grind when his teeth are bothering him when new ones are coming in. I would just keep track of it, see if its consistent and if it continues for a month or so and then talk to your Dr, it might just be a phase.

DD has been grinding her teeth for the past few weeks. Some days it's all day long. Some times she doesn't do it at all. I think it's normal...although I hate it!!
