What happens if you just let her hang out in the crib? does she cry? I know alot of people dont like to let their child cry it out but I'd do it for a few minutes b/.c my daughter would do that and after about 5 mins or so shed knock back out....HTH

My DD will be 2 in a few weeks and STILL doesn't sleep thru the night. I feel your pain Chat Icon I have no advise because I can't even solve my problem. She just loves to sleep next to me. I have tried putting her stuffed Pablo in her crib (it is pretty big) with her so she thinks someone is there...doesn't work Chat Icon

I have tried to let her cry it out, but then she gets so upset she throws up, then I have to change her and the sheets. By the time I am done with that, she is wide awakeChat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

I don't have any answers except that I found that CIO does not work when the child gets older... We did it when she was 5 1/2 months and I think that's a great time...
I hope it gets better for youChat Icon

Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon What time does she go to bed initially..Maybe put her to bed alittle later. My dd goes to bed at 9pm and wakes up at 7a.. She is 8 months old..I give her a last bottle at 8:30pm.. If she does wake up I check her diaper without putting the light on and then rub her head. I never pick her up or feed her in the middle of the night . Good LuckChat Icon Chat Icon

Maybe she is going to bed too late? What time does she go down?

Speak to your pediatrician. It sounds almost like she has separation anxiety. I know this sounds crazy but I've heard of this before and that's what the doctor told my friend.

Her son will be two in Oct. and he still doesn't sleep through the night.
