16 week appt today at 12:45
which means I will probably see the doctor around 2:30 
not really sure what will happen with this one. I hope she does a sono. she has every appt thus far.
we will be discussing my upcoming trip to Italy, so I hope I get the all clear!

Good Luck!
They will do some bloodwork for the AFP screening and will probably listen to the heartbeat with the doppler.

For my first pregnancy, they did the 8 week sono, the 12 week sono (for the AFP), 18 weeks sono (level II), and a 20 week sono (repeat level II because I didn't follow fluid intake instructions.
They start to cut back the sonos soon, but every practice is different so you never know.

I just had mine last week, it was urine, weight, bp, quick blood test and check the hearbeat with a doppler(and I was still there for over an hour). This was my first appt with no sono. I only got to hear the heartbeat for like a second, the md said the baby was moving and he couldn't catch it, but even hearing just that gave me peace of mind.
